Ingredients:

  • 10 Slices of Bread
  • Curd \ Cream
  • Semolina\ Rawa
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Green chilly
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Preparation time: 45 minutes.

Serves: 4 people.

Description:

This dish is very close to my heart.. Its one of the recipes I learnt with my mom and was a favorite of everyone at home.. I remember we use to wait at the table for it to be served nice, hot and super yummy. It is really easy to make and a great treat for kids too, they are going to love it. The plus point being, it is more like a healthy pizza with no cheese or butter. I know u must be wondering what kind of pizza has no cheese or butter to it, wait until you read and try this delicious bread pizza recipe..

Batter:

In a mixing bowl, in equal proportions add 2 cups of curd or cream ( as per avaibility ) and 2 cups of semolina (rawa) and mix well. Add in all the veggies finely chopped, green chilly finely chopped and the spices salt and pepper as per taste. Mix the batter really well until all the ingredients have combined well with a smooth texture. Quick tip, incase u find the mixture dry add in the cream and semolina as required. Once done, store the batter in the fridge for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Preparation Method:

Once the batter is done and is cooling in the fridge, chop the bread slices in equals of four or you can keep the slices as they are, choice is yours ( I prefer cutting my slice into 4, makes it easier to roast on pan)

Heat a pan, add in 2 tbsp of oil and let it sizzle. With the help of a spoon spread a spoon size batter over the bread piece and place it on the pan. Roast the slices on medium to low heat until both sides turn golden brown in color and are well cooked.
